Fireworks ship on a pallet via freight carrier (large semi truck). We have negotiated highly-discounted rates with a number of carriers within the continental United States.
Freight charges are calculated by the weight of the order and the destination. Our automatic freight estimator, built into our online ordering system, will find the best shipping quote to your location through our network of carriers. If you need assistance with freight, or the quote seems out of whack, feel free to give us a ring to double-check the estimate. Transit times are between 1-5 days to most addresses. We will send tracking information when your order ships.
You’ll also see an option of shipping to a terminal. This is a freight carrier’s hub, where they will bring the pallet(s) out to your vehicle for you to load. Often this option can reduce costs over having it delivered directly to you. Any terminal freight not picked up by the customer/receiver within 48 hours after arrival is subject to storage charges, which are the responsibility of the customer/receiver.
For home or business delivery, the freight company will contact you before delivery, as someone is required to be there to unload the shipment and verify the # of cases delivered. When the truck shows up for delivery, you will need a liftgate if you do not have a forklift or elevated loading dock. Liftgates are included in all residential/rural delivery quotes, and can be added to non-residential/non-rural quotes as needed. The driver will use the liftgate to unload pallet(s) from the truck. Whether you use a liftgate or not, you are responsible for verifying the case count of the shipment (found on the left-hand side of the bill of lading), noting any damage or discrepancies by writing them on the bill of lading, and then signing it.
NOTICE: Any damages or shortages must be noted on the bill of lading BEFORE SIGNING IT, whether you are picking up from a terminal or having the order delivered directly to you. Any shortage/damage claims must be filed with the trucking company. Victory Fireworks is not responsible for damaged or shorted product, nor for terminal storage charges.
